About us

I Choose Local is a community foundation company operating as a not-for-profit organization.

Our mission is to serve local residents in Surrey by helping them access better job opportunities, apprenticeships, and training, with a particular focus on the technology sector.

For individuals who may not feel ready to re-enter the workforce—whether due to a lack of confidence, feelings of being overwhelmed, or anxiety—we offer tailored "Back to Work" courses called The Power of You.

We collaborate closely with educational institutions such as Activate Learning Guildford College, Brooklands College, and Nescot College, as well as with numerous local employers.
